How To Be A Stupid Parent:
Here are some ways to bring stupidity into parenting.
1.) Discipline your child only after you lose your temper. Let them get away with anything until they push you to your limit. When you’re fed up, in hostility and anger, LET THEM ‘HAVE IT!’ Blow your top, holler, get wild, clobber them and really make a brawl out of it. this will make discipline every bit as childish as the behavior you are "correcting."
2.) Don’t be approachable. You might have to listen and spend some time with your child. Don’t ever reason with them. If you get too chummy, they might ant to talk to you about their life. Who’s got time to waste on kids? You’ve got more important things to do. Right?
3.) If they’ve done something wrong, never let them forget it. Keep harping and rubbing it in...they’ll loathe you for it. Teach them that forgiveness is foolish.
4.) Give your child all the spending money he wants. Don’t ever make him earn anything. Money in large quantities is a great substitute for love and attention. After awhile, he’ll only want your money and couldn’t care less about you.
5.) Compare your child with someone else to shake him up a little. Use that tried and true expression, "Why can’t you be more like_____?"
6.) Mom and Dad should disagree in front of the children about rules for the youngsters. This way, they will learn to play one parent against the other.
7.) Don’t ever spank your child. All of the experts say that it is wrong. After all, God doesn’t know what He is talking about! Look at the kind of kids that the experts are raising!
8.) Don’t ever sit down and read to your child, or love them, or take them for a fun outing. You don’t want them to become too dependent upon you.
9.) Wait and let your child decide for himself what he believes, where he goes to church, IF he goes to church, etc. Make him go to school, take a bath, study his homework. But let him decide for himself about eternal things.
One thing you can know for sure if you follow this advice...if your children turn out well, IT WON’T BE YOUR FAULT! It will be a MIRACLE of the highest order!
