OUR FRIENDS IN LIBERIA

It has been the great pleasure of the people at the DeGraff Free Will Baptist Church to have a close relationship with the New Testament Baptist Church of Liberia (African Continent).

We have found Pastor Jesse W. Quapourlee to be a strong Bible-believing Christian, doing a great work of planting this church, Pastoring, and winning souls to Jesus Christ.

Pastor Jesse is married to Comfort Quapourlee. They have two children, J-boy (age 7) and Nyornie (age 6). They also have a baby on the way!  Here, in his own words, is Pastor Jesse's testimony...

"I accepted Christ as my Lord and personal Savior at age 9 in 1981. Eventhough I was born and reared in a Christian home. I was subsequently baptized in 1990 on December 2nd in the Hope Baptist Church of Samay, Bong County, Liberia. After my baptism, and prior to my college studies, I had served the church in many capacities: Children's Class Teacher, Youth Director, Deacon, Evangelism Director. etc

I was commissioned by the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church of Gbarnga City, Bong County to plant the Palala Baptist Fellowship of Palala Town from 1996-1999, and I was licensed by the Matadi Baptist Church to preach the Word of God through the length and breadth of Liberia having acknowledged my call to the gospel ministry.I also received a license to preach the gospel from the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.

Before my graduation from Bible College, I started the New Testament Baptist Church in 2002 during the heat of our civil conflict; but, praise God that many people have been saved and over thirty persons have been baptized. I am married to a ministry-minded woman, Comfort.     2006 makes us nine years in marriage. God has blessed our union with two children, Nyornie and J-boy.  My wife has also just conceived, Praise God!

My Dad, Rev. Joe K. Willie has served the Lord in minstry for 45 years. Our Mom (Anna Willie) is strong Christian woman. She taught lot of great Christian ministers when they were young. Both of them now are very old but stay in the ministry. We are 8 children, 4 boys and 4 girls; praise be to God that we are all Christians and now serving in various ministries.
                                            God bless!!!!  Jesse W. Quapourlee"

I am sure that you can tell by the kind words of this humble man of God why we all at DeGraff Free Will Baptist Church  love him, his family, and his church so much!  Enjoy the pictures...and don't forget to pray for the New Testament Baptist Church in Liberia!
