THE OCCULT

Deuteronomy 18:9-13

"When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,

Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God"

1 Timothy 4: 1

"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils."

Satanism is on the increase! Men, in staggering numbers are giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. Many are not even aware that they are involved in the occult because "Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light... and his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness." 2 Corinthians 11:14-15.

The purpose of this tract is to unveil some of Satan's workings so that men might avoid his deception.

In Deuteronomy 18: 9-14 there is a list of occult practices that are condemned by the Lord.

They are...

1.) CAUSING CHILDREN TO PASS THROUGH THE FIRE. This amounted to burning children alive as human sacrifices to Satan. Also includes firewalking and fire eating.

2.) DIVINATION. This includes psychic powers,fortune telling, ESP, Tarot cards, crystal ball gazing, mind reading and palm reading, Ouija board, astral projection, mystic insight, numerology, the ability to move objects by mental concentration, handwriting analysis, visions, etc.

3.) AN OBSERVER OF TIMES. One who uses astrology, the planets and stars, omens or signs to guide his life.

4.) AN ENCHANTER. One who casts spells (hexes), curses, etc. upon others. This would include chanting, muttering, charismatic tongues speaking, voodoo, etc.

5.) A WITCH. A female sorcerer who uses demonic influence to gain psychic power.

6.) A CHARMER. A hypnotist, one who bewitches or puts in a trance. Often uses amulets, objects, and symbols to gain power over another. Charming would also involve dowsing, water witching, psychic surgery, and brainwashing.

7.) A CONSULTER WITH FAMILIAR SPIRITS. This is a person who consults with devils... often calling them spirit guides or poltergeists. This practice is also called channeling.

8.) A WIZARD. A male witch or warlock. Sorcerer.

9.) A NECROMANCER. One claiming to contact the dead. Uses seances, spiritism, automatic writing, table tilting, spirit rapping, etc.

SYMBOLS

SYMBOLS are very important to occult practice. Below are some of the more predominant ones used in devil worship...

THE PENTAGRAM is a symbol used as

a representation of Lucifer (Satan).

A variation of the Pentagram, called the

HORNED STAR...it also represents Satan

The HEXAGRAM is considered the foremost

sign of evil in the Occult. It must be present to call forth a demon during Satanic rituals. HEX means..to place a curse on someone.

The ANKH is a symbol of reincarnation and belief in Lucifer (Satan).

The letters P over X were (and are!!) carved deeply into the chests of the humans and animals sacrificed to Satan. Taking a sharp knife, the letters were plunged into the chest and then the heart was removed and offered to gain his favor and make peace with him.

The CRUCIFIX also known as the "sign of death." THIS IS NOT a "Christian" symbol! Satanists use this symbol to represent their idea that "God is dead." Occultists ascribe great power to this symbol. They believe that since Satan conquered Jehovah, all should worship Satan.

THE CRESCENT represents the Queen of Heaven, and the STAR represents Lucifer.

THE BROKEN CROSS, THE UPSIDEDOWN OR INVERTED CROSS. A desecration of the cross upon which Jesus Christ died for our sins. Used

in Satanic worship.

THE SWASTIKA. Also called the "hooked cross" and means.. "away from God." A mystical symbol or decoration used in Buddhism, Catholicism, and Theosophy.

THE UNICORN OR THE UNICORN HORN. This is a Druid symbol representing homosexuality. The Chinese word for unicorn is .. Ki-lin. Ki is male and Lin is female. Witchcraft places a high regard upon homosexuality, and believes that the demon "Amdusciass" is contacted by using a unicorn figure.
