DANGEROUS
VIDEO GAMES
(Violence - Sex - Gore - Monsters -
Witchcraft - Satanism - Brutality
and other sick stuff)
"The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be
full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great
is that darkness!"
(Matthew 6:22-23)
In the news and on TV, GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS have been concerned
lately with the type of things that are available in the video games for young
people. In a special report by the National Institute on Media and the Family,
video games were given an F (failing) rate.
Ratings - BMX XXX shows live topless strippers and there is no X
rating.
Research shows that most parents are uninformed - less than 5% of parents
know what the content on the video games is in their own homes.
On-line gaming has increased by 50%. The number of 2-17 year olds that play
on-line has increased to 92%. World wide sales of video games have reached $20
billion dollars a year.
If you are a parent then you need to CHECK UP on any video games that
your child is playing with. What seems innocent at first can become wicked
later in the game.
So far there are no laws regulating who can buy a video game. Yes, they
label them "E" for everyone to "M" for mature audience,
etc. But ANYONE THAT HAS THE MONEY CAN BUY THEM.
Just this week in the news there was a MURDER where a young person
acted out what he saw on the video game he was playing. And people say that
video games do not affect a young person???
Many video games instruct the player to kill; run someone over with a car;
shoot someone; and mangle the victim. ….Thou shalt not kill. (Exodus 20:13)
Video games are ADDICTIVE and can control a person's life. Recently there
was an adult man that worked ONLY to have enough money to play video games. He
was neglecting his family and admitted to doing so.
Some video games actually present the woman as a PLAYTHING and then
mutilate her body and kill her afterwards. (Sick!)
Other video games are so OBSCENE that there is no way they can be
dealt with or pictures be shown on a site for family viewing.
“Being filled
with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness;
full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters
of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to
parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection,
implacable, unmerciful:” (Romans 1:31)
NUDITY is presented as normal and many times the woman in the game is
not presented as a lady but a killer; a fornicator; a prostitute; or some other
type of person that you would not want your daughter to emulate or your son to
see.
Sorcery; witchcraft; Satanism and magic play a vital part in many of the
games. Do you want your child to play at being a WITCH OR SORCERER?
There shall not be
found among you any one that maketh his son or his
daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth
divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer,
or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all
that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: (Deuteronomy
18:10-12)
Many times the woman in the game has a monster for a friend or ally. Ah yes!
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST all over again.
...And if a woman
approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and
the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
(Leviticus 20:15-16)

of a video game called;
GRAND THEFT AUTO
"Mugging, Madness, and Massacres: Surviving the first 25
Missions."
"Dress as a golfer and go clubbing."
"Learn the fine art of chainsaw molestation."
"Waste the Wife. Get some easy money and amusement."
"Keep running from the law."
"Locate a voodoo car."
"Take the arm of Mercedes as she shows you around the boat. Then get in
the car and escort her back to the ... strip club."
"Outrun Smokey (police), head to the Pay N Spray ... and receive a free
paint job. Then ... drive past a cop and laugh at his ineptitude."
Devastating Weaponry
"Choose from an arsenal of new weapons as well as all your favorites.
Mutilate your enemies with dual pistols, turret guns, and deployable sentry
guns. For extra bloodshed, kill with the newly added Predator Energy Flechette."
BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER
"As the slayer, Buffy eliminates vampires and other demonic
creatures that threaten the world's existence. It's up to you to save the human
race from being 'drained' during this devilish time."
"Players fight a range of enemies including Spike, the Master,
Drusilla, demons, zombies, and other supernatural creatures that
threaten mankind."
COMMENTS FROM PLAYERS THAT LIKED THE GAME
"Both I and my son enjoy this game, although I must
say some of the monsters are a little creepy and might be a little too scary
for a young child."
"Buffy is an amazing action oozing-filled romp with stunning visuals,
one of the best fighting engines I've ever seen, top notch sound design and a
character (Buffy) that's so incredibly adorable you can't help but fall in
love with. What's truly amazing to me is that I've never watched the show,
don't know anything about the characters or stars but it only took 5 minutes
with this game to be helplessly drawn into their creepy, gool
infested universe."
DEATHROW
"What is Deathrow? That's a tough one,
because the game's difficult to define. A futuristic competitive smack-down
match with the essence of a Midway sports title but the attitude and ferocity
of the most brutal of fighters... This is a vision of the sports
future, where rabid crowds gather around massive public viewing screens to
watch tough-as-nails competitors beat each other to a bloody pulp while trying
to get a glowing disk through a hoop. Deathrow is
rated M for a reason. It's violent, full of curse words and has plenty of
drug and sex content. This game is absolutely not for children, but is
absolutely right for adults who act like children. Originally touted as
having "realistic mature language," it was hard to understand just
what that meant. Now it's clear. Many games with bad words just sort of throw
them out. But Deathrow makes cursing an art form...
you will hear endless streams of four-letter words.
But above all things,

"Obscene gestures are common. Some of the best come with teams,
like the Demons, that speak another language but are clearly swearing in some
foreign tongue. Yeah, you dunno what that bloke with
the horns is saying, but it sure would get his mouth washed out with soap in
my house. I'm hooked and I won't stop playing for a long, long time."
"This game is like video crack (Crack is the name for drug
Cocaine). Once you start playing, you really can't stop." (Addiction!)
DEAD OR ALIVE XTREME BEACH VOLLEYBALL

The above is just a sampling of the many types of videos
that can be purchased. Are these the kind of games people should play, much
less young people.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just,
whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever
things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any
